Laura Duckett is a registered Canadian Trademark Agent. She has over a decade of experience in trademarks and other areas of intellectual property. She is qualified to act in the Canadian Trademarks Office and to represent Canadian trademark applicants in the US Patent and Trademark Office.
In 1991, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Kingston University (UK), though she elected not to pursue qualification as a lawyer. She joined our firm in 2003 in an administrative capacity and qualified as a Trademark Agent in 2013. She has extensive experience in trademark searching, filing, prosecution and oppositions.
Laura Duckett is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC). She is a member of the Victoria Legal Support Staff Association (VLSA) and in the past has served on the VLSA Bulletin and Scholarship standing committees.
